Brooklyn USA Basketball is dedicated to using the game of basketball as a vehicle to inspire, educate, and empower young people to become successful students, athletes, and citizens.
Since 1990, we have been committed to providing opportunities for youth to develop athletic skills, leadership abilities, and academic excellence while fostering a sense of community and belonging.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we believe in the transformative power of sports to change lives and strengthen communities. Our programs focus on skill development, character building, academic support, and creating pathways to higher education and professional opportunities.

About Our Founder
For over three decades, our founder Ziggy has been the heart and soul of Brooklyn USA Basketball. The vision to create a program that uses basketball as a tool for youth development has transformed thousands of lives throughout Brooklyn and beyond.
Ziggy's philosophy extends far beyond the basketball court. The program emphasizes the importance of education, character, and community service, instilling these values in every young person who comes through the program.
Under Ziggy's leadership, Brooklyn USA Basketball has grown from a small local program to a nationally recognized organization with a proven track record of developing not just skilled athletes, but well-rounded individuals prepared for success in all aspects of life.
